Caring for Connor

Caring for Connor is a local charity doing outstanding work helping to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a rare and severe type of Muscular Dystrophy resulting in progressively worsening muscle weakness.

Caring for Connor was formed by Georgina and Wayne Olsen after their son Connor was diagnosed with the disease on the 8th of February 2013 at three years of age.

Bright eyed and smiley Connor continues to fight his disease whilst fundraising continues in the hope of continually developing treatments being a reality for Connor when the time comes for him to undergo treatment.

Williams Weekender 2016 was organised in co-ordination with Caring for Connor and Lukes Legacy was able to donate £1,500 to their fund.

Connor, his family and the efforts of all those involved in the charity are an inspiration and the Luke Williams Charitable Trust is proud to continue supporting Caring for Connor in their pursuit to beat DMD.
