Minster Bowls Club Open Day Championship

Team Luke Members Liam and Kieran Morris joined forces with their Cousin and Uncle to walk away with the Minster Bowls Club Open Day Championship on Sunday 25th June - beating 20 other teams.

Along with the trophy they were awarded with £300.00 donation to the Charity of their choice. Obviously Luke’s Legacy were their choice!!

It’s the 3rd time in 6 years that the team, sponsored by their Uncle’s company - HoldenTech, have won the tournament. It’s the 2nd time Luke’s Legacy have been the chosen charity.

"It’s always a great day, with some good players playing - we were really lucky this year though. We have won 3 times now and the Plate (wooden spoon competition for the 1st round losers) too. " - Kieran Morris

Welldone HoldenTech and good luck on retaining your title next year.

Thankyou to Minster Bowls Club for a great event and to WS Cole & Sons who sponsored the event and providing the Prize money.

"Its quite apt really as Luke was a keen bowls player too, in particular he would play Indoor Bowls with his Dad, Martin, in Cliftonville. " - Liam Morris
